of the Crediton Area Market and Coastal Towns initiative (MCTi).
Information is provided on this website as it has been supplied to them
by their contributors and subscribers, or as may be provided by other
third party sources of information including advertisements. Whilst every
care is taken to verify and quality check content before publishing RYS
and CIC do not accept, and disclaim all and any responsibility for representations,
warranties, obligation and liability concerning the accuracy, completeness
or suitability of the information, products or services provided by any
person or organisation through this web site or otherwise.
By using this site, including any link to any other source of information,
products or services, it is a condition that the user acknowledges that
RYS and MCTi shall have no obligation and liability in connection with

the purpose of contacting local companies and organisations or obtaining
products and services offered by third parties, in accordance with and

Protecting the privacy and personal data of individuals is an important
aspect of the way our company, Raise Your Sites (RYS), a subsidiary of
1st Site Limited Ltd, organises and implements its activities both on-line
and off-line.
The privacy statement applies only to RYS's web sites. We are unable
to offer any information or reassurance about the level of privacy protection
offered from or by any third party sites which may link to or from by
our sites. We suggest that you check the privacy statements displayed
on any third party sites you visit.
2. What information do we gather?
We collect the personal data that you volunteer on forms you submit to
us, and in emails you send to us.
The personal data we collect (as described above) is used to allow us
to develop our sites in a way that will enhance the online experience
of the greatest number of users.

parties selected by RYS by leaving the relevant boxes blank at the
points where our sites collect personal data. Checking the box indicates
to us that you would prefer your personal data not to be disclosed

By sending an email or by contacting us using the form by clicking on "contact" on
the site, you may request that we confirm whether or not we are holding
personal data about you. This information which will be provided free
of charge. You may also request a copy of any such data which we do hold,
in which case a £10 fee is payable for dealing with this request
(as permitted under the Data Protection Act 1998).
Upon receipt of such a request from you, we will endeavour to meet your
request within 40 days of our receiving all such information which we
require in order to deal with the request. Insofar as the law permits,
however, we reserve the right to refuse to provide you with information.
In the event of our refusing to provide you with information we will
provide you with the reasons behind the refusal.
All information that we provide to you as a result of a request will
be provided free of charge.

amended?
You may request that we amend any personal data that we are holding about
you which is factually inaccurate, free of charge.

8. What steps have been taken and what security is in place to
keep my personal data secure?
All of our employees and data processors who have access to your personal
data and/or are associated with the processing of that data are contractually
obliged to respect the confidentiality of your personal data.
To protect the integrity and security of your personal data we will
take steps to verify your identity before granting access to your data
or making corrections to it.
We have put in place appropriate security and IT procedures and policies

The Crediton Area Web Site management reserves the right to make changes
to this site at any time and without notice.
Provisions Specifically Applicable to Individuals and Organisations
submitting information and material to the site
Persons and Organisations who register for inclusion in this web site
are subject to the following, in addition and notwithstanding the above
general terms and conditions:
The CAWS project will evaluate your application in good faith. We may
reject your application if we determine at our own discretion that the
content is unsuitable for inclusion on the site. Unsuitable content and
links to sites and other organisations include, but are not limited to
the following:
· Those promoting sexually explicit materials, violence, illegal activities,
discrimination relating to sex, race, creed, nationality, disability,
age or any other characteristic likely to bring offence to the party
concerned.
· Those that breach intellectual property rights
Rejected applicants may re-apply for inclusion at any time.
Acceptance does not rule out removal where we later determine (at our
sole discretion) the content to be unsuitable for inclusion. In such
instance, and where paid listings have been provided, we may terminate
this Agreement forthwith without notice and without refund.
You will be solely responsible for the development, operation and maintenance
of your content. For example, you will be solely responsible for:
· The accuracy and appropriateness of content provided.
· Ensuring that the content you supply has been uploaded to your satisfaction.
· Ensuring that material provided does not breach or infringe upon the
rights of any third party such as copyrights, trademarks, privacy or
other personal or proprietary rights, and that such material is not defamatory
or illegal.
Crediton Area MCTi and their agents disclaim all liability for these
matters. Further, you will indemnify and hold them all harmless from
all claims, damages and expenses (including, without limitation, legal
fees) relating to the development, operation, maintenance and contents
of the content you place on the Crediton Area Web Site.
Trade suppliers are advised to telephone the Crediton

the manager to discuss their communication and promotional needs.
Commercial web pages, sponsorship and other promotional services are available
to businesses through our paid section.
Editable Pages
Where permissions are provided to self edit web pages within a predetermined
framework, you will be solely responsible for the development, operation
and maintenance of your own content, including creating and posting
content and the accuracy and appropriateness of materials posted.
Clubs and non-commercial organisations:
Where free pages are not kept up to date by the contributor, or where
the content is not in keeping with the rest of the site, or fails to
comply with the other terms and conditions, the webmaster has authority
to remove the editorial rights and permissions form the subscriber.
Spam
The Crediton Area Web Site does not condone spamming and will not participate
in spamming. In consequence we reserve the right to cancel services
to those who violate this policy by engaging in Unsolicited Commercial
Emails via the Crediton Area Web Site or by using its information.
Additionally, unauthorized use of information used by third parties
will be subject to copyright law violations and will be subject to
criminal prosecution.
The CAWS owners or their agents, in their sole discretion, may refuse
to include in, or may remove from, the website, with or without notice,
any agency which they believe has submitted false information, is financially
unreliable or be considered deprecating to the Crediton Area MCTi,
or its agents.
Listing Policies
The Crediton Area Web Site webmaster reserves the right to alter, exclude,
reject part or in whole, any information supplied by subscribers. After
submitting information to the CAW Site, it becomes the copyrighted
property of the Crediton Area MCTi and its agents. Unauthorized copying
or use of such information is prohibited and is subject to criminal
prosecution
Privacy
The database driving this site is totally opt-in and all members have
the right to request opt-out of any marketing or research activity.
It should however be noted by members that any opt-out only applies
to third party marketing initiatives endorsed by site owners and not
information delivery of site owner communication or use of the email
link or brochure request facilities where supplied. The sign-up to
Listings automatically provides an opt-in agreement by the member to
receive communication from site users albeit within the approved terms
of site owner quality control procedures and permissible usage of any
broadcast facility currently available.

Should any site member have any complaint regards material received as
a result of being registered on this site they should contact The Webmaster
