Mid Devon Tourist Information Centre, Crediton
The Crediton Information Centre is an independently run "not for profit" limited company supported by private local initiatives and local authority sponsorship.
It is centrally placed in the High Street in the Old Town Hall and we are proud of the wide range of services, products and information provided to both vistors and the local community.
The centre provides visitors with a free list of approved accommodation within a thirty mile radius. The helpful personnel will even pre-book you accommodation in advance for you. Just phone 01363 772006, or use our BOOKING PREFERENCE FORM, and they will get back to you with a quote and availability.
Entertainment and Attractions and Special Events
The TIC holds information on a vast range of local and regional attractions,
from theatres to theme parks and from stately homes to special events
such as the Devon County Show.

Book your tickets for day trips to Lundy Island the famous wildlife sanctuary off the North Devon Coast through the Crediton Tourist Information Centre.

Activities
The Crediton TIC will provide you with brochures and leaflets on a whole
range of activities which you can enjoy in the Crediton area. At the
bottom of this page is a link to a large list of publications which
are stocked by the TIC. All of these can be sent to you by post.
Whether it's Walking, Ornithology, Cycling routes, Canoeing, Places
to Fish, Pony Trekking, Golf, Surfing, Sailing, you name the activity
and
we almost certainly will have information about it.
Fishing Permits
The Centre sells visitor permits for the crediton Fly Fishing Club waters on the rivers Yeo, Creedy, Taw and Culm, and day and season permits for coarse fishing in the very productive Lake in Shobrooke Park.

The TIC Shop
In addition to providing a wealth of information for the tourist, the shop itself has a broad selection of gifts, local and regional produce, crafts, timetables, maps and books of local interest, or by local authors.
When you come to Crediton, make sure that the Tourist Information Centre is on your list of places to visit.
